A legend in their own mind, you'll quickly get to know them!

The Maitre D' is especially helpful if you find that for whatever reason, including the people discussed above, you require a table change.

LOL--that way you'd probably lose your stake and if the lost stake was sizeable enough you could also possibly lose your steak, potatoes, salad and dessert!

If you want a serious answer, then it is "No". I guess the title of the thread is a little misleading. You should be able to order a steak any night during dinner (early or late seating) in the Britannia Dining Room.
