I've read several of the Tulum reviews and posts and have seen people's comments regarding time constraints. We will be in Cozumel from 8am-10pm. For those who have been there, would you still be concerned about using a private tour company with that kind of time allotted? Thanks!

Also...anyone know the price of the ferry going from Cozumel to Playa Del Carmen?

We went to Tulum on Christmas day 2007! It was amazing and we had plenty of time to explore the grounds with our NCL tour. The bus ride was long but worth it! You will be in 'awe' when you see the massive buildings and the Caribbean Sea in the background. We enjoyed the ferry ride from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen.

With that amount of time you should be fine. This last September we were on a carnival cruise. I am glad we were on a carnival excursion to Tulum because the ship was waiting on us. We were really only 15-20 minutes late....but we were late.
I don't know what the ferry cost was. If there was a charge it was included in our carnival paid excursion. |
