Default Bananarama or Mayan Princess??

We're looking for a beach day with jet skiis. Can anybody tell me what watersports are offered at each of these places? Anybody ever go there on their own? How far from the ship? TIA

There is a jet ski rental place on the beach next to Bananrama but I don't think it's part of Bananrama Bananrama has been trying to change its name has become Eco-Roatan resort. And you can book in advance.
Here's their websites for information.

Mayan Princess is a private resort but has a limited number of day passes, first come first served. And does not have jet skis. However, it is next door to Bannarama.

Crewsweeper have you been to Mayan Princess? Do you know how many day passes they offer. I have written them several times but have not gotten a response. Thanks.

No I have not. Usually avoid such places if at all posible. However, if your read the threads on this board regarding Mayan Princes, you'll see they do not reserve passes in advance. And of late haven't been responding rapidly. Appears it's first come first serve.

Now Bananrama or Eco Roatan (sounds like an adventure race) is just as great a spot and easier to get into. but it's not a "developed" and resorty as MP.

Default public beach

im not sure but why would anyone want to book or pay to stay on a public beach that is free to enter anywhere along this stretch
from the photos i dont see an attraction to bananarama you can visit the bar and all kinds of restaurants all along the beach
am i missing something important here
i think it would be better to be at maya key they have a pool and nice set up with shade or sun and no taxi ride to pay for mho

Zoey I agree that its a waste to pay for a public beach. However, my son really wants tojet ski with his dad like he did in Barbados. Already planning on a dolphin swim, thriller boat with beach kayak, and I'm still unsure abour Beleze. If I can, on Roatan 'll just cab it to the beach and rent a jet sk. That would work, but what about chairs/lounges and floats for the mama??? Looking for the most affoardable not necessarily the cheapest.
