Default Question for those who have done the America's Cup sailing

Is this excursion "plus size" friendly? My husband is a big and tall man. I am not worried at all about him being able to handle it physically because he's very active. I am more worried about the weight limitations and life jacket. I have contacted the company directly and she says as long as the life jacket fits, he should be ok. Has anyone done this that can help? I don't want him to be embarrassed.

We did this a couple of years ago and it was one of the best excursions ever. No one wore a life jacket, they did offer one but there were no takers. I found it very safe you are in the bay and it would be very difficult to fall out. He will enjoy it!

This excursion looks awesome! Do they really get going and do some awesome things? I just don't want to pay that much money and have it be a slow sail? My husband and I really love sailing and this looks very cool.

My husband loved this ! Everyone has a job to do. He was a grinder, I was a wench. I have never been so seasick ! And I've never been sick on the ship. I think it was the job I had plus I forgot to take my Bonine. Don't want to "rain on anyones parade, just won't to caution anyone who's prone to motion sickness.

DW & I did this excursion in April '08, and agree it was the best "adventure" excursion we've ever done on our 8 cruises. The "crew" aboard our yacht ("True North") were offered life jackets, but all declined. The chance of falling overboard is zero. Do take advantage of this extremely exhilerating "race" - you will never forget it.
