Hi, we are going to be in Grand Cayman in Jan, Crown Princess, and are interested in trying the Helmut Diving @Coral Canyon. Its offered by Princess.
We know nothing about this and would like some feedback from anyone who has tried it. Many Thanks Ann |

Is this the excursion where you wear a helmet that keeps your head dry? If so my son and DIL did it and thought it was lots of fun. However they did tell me that the helmet is very heavy on your shoulders......if this makes a difference to you.

We did a Helmet Dive in Bermuda, and we had a blast. Yes, you will have a helmet on your head, and air is fed into the helmet, so you breathe normally. No swimming skills are needed (great for me......I can't swim). The helmet is only heavy when they first put it on. Once you are under water, you don't even notice it. Since the water is so clear in Grand Cayman, I bet you would see lot down there.
