Besides Pinel

Traveling to St. Martin in 2 weeks from a cruise ship. We LOVE Pinel Island but won't have enough time to travel there and back and enjoy the day. Any suggestions of other beaches close to the cruise docks, that is quiet, calm surf, chair rentals available?

What are the closest beaches to the ships?

Dawn Bay beach should be within 20 minutes from the cruise ship. Many cruisers say that it is nice by Busby's. I plan on going there in March.
