I am going to book today for the Liberty in April.
Could anyone tell me what the dining times are and if they have Dining my Times - basically having dinner when you want by letting them know that morning or something like that. I know a lot of ships are doing this now but I haven't been on RCC since 2006. Thanks Bette |

Yes---all of RCI's ships offer this option now. You can tell them when you book that you'd like to do that, but you will be required to pay your gratuities up-front. You can't switch back and forth from traditional dining to MTD....you pick one or the other.

The regular dining times are usually 6:00 for the early seating and 8:30 for the late seating.

I don't mind the up front tips. Do you mean they just add it on to your cruise account? Why would that be? Whats the difference...

Yes, they add it to the cost of the cruise. The prepaid tips cover not just your wait staff but also your room steward. I don't know why. I assume it is to ensure that the staff is tipped properly.
