Default Formal nights on AOS

Hi,

Does anyone know which nights are the formal nights on the AOS? I believe the second night will be the first formal night as it is the only sea day, but am not sure when the second formal night will be. She does Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Maarten, and St. Croix.

Thanks

I believe they are Monday and Thursday. Enjoy your cruise!

Yes, this route is Thursday (Antigua) for 2nd formal night. However, lobster won't be served - it's on Friday (smart casual) night which is a little different than most itineraries I think.

We did the Wine Tastings Dinner in Portofino on the 2nd Formal Night (Thursday) and did dress formally there (about 1/2 the group there did)

Masonpips, did you enjoy the Wine Tastings dinner? Is that only done one night of the cruise? We are traveling with our daughters and the little one is only 7. Does anyone bring small children there? It sounds really appealing.

We did enjoy it - there is a thread not too far from the top that has photos I took of the food (you might be able to click on my name to see posts and find it). There were no children that night at all - I think the recommended age at Portofino is 13+. My kids really enjoy the Adventure Ocean program so yours might too!

Thanks for the info. That is exactly what I imagined about kids in Portofinos. If people are paying extra for an extra special meal then they won't really want to deal with peoples munchkins during dinner. I know that my little one will really enjoy the Adventure Ocean Club as well.

The AOS does not have Chops. Specialty restaurant is Portofino and well worth the extra $$. Enjoy your cruise!
