Port Canaveral rental car

Anyone off the Pride recently that remembers what time you actually get off the ship in Port Canaveral for a car rental. Any suggestions on which company to go with and times to reserve and return car for the time you are in port? Thanks

Can't give you time for debarking at Port Canaveral as we were there on the Glory. I just know when we got back we waited forever for Dollar rental car van to pick us up. Budget and National vans came and went every few mins. and we just stood and waited and waited. Would not use Dollar again for this reason. Also we were given a PT cruiser which I didn't care for. We have used Budget here before and were happy. The various rental companies know when a ship docks and they will all be there right outside the terminal waiting for people with reservations.

We used Avis and they were pretty quick both times we used them. Waited about 20 mins max.

We rented from Hertz last week.

They picked up up at the pier and dropped us off. We did not wait long, I just called them when we got off the Pride.

They upgraded me to a mini van which I did NOT want, and I did not have to pay for gas!

We did the Disney thing, and would rent from them again.....
