Default carribean princess 12/20 cruise--12/27 late departure

I know we dock at 0600 but our flight isn't until 1400. Any suggestions on what time we need to be off and/or what to do for the remainder of time i n San Juan?

Most disembarkation will be between 7 am and 9 am, possibly just a little later.

You will probably need to be at the airport three hours before your flight to go through agricultural inspection, check in, and security, all probably with long lines.

Really not that much you can do between 9 AM and 11 AM when you should be at the airport.

I agree that you can't expect to be off the ship at 6:00 am when it docks ---- customs has to clear the ship first, luggage must be off loaded, etc. You do have the option of choosing the self disembarkation, where you carry off your own luggage and thus can get off quicker than the usual process. Just be aware that the hallways are very crowded on disembarkation day and leaving with your luggage in tow can be challenging. However, you could probably hire a private taxi to give you a short tour and then drop you at the airport about 11:00 am. If you go to the POrts of Call message boards here, you'' ll find suggestions or you can ask in the San Juan section.

The last passengers will probably be off about 9:30 or 10 am. This doesn't give you much time to do anything before a 2pm flight.

Default Tours were available

Last winter Princess offered CB passengers a couple of tours for those with flights leaving after a certain time. The tours ended at the airport.

I found when were on the CB in March, it was a while before we finally go to the taxi stand. You may just want to ask a cab driver to give you a short tour before heading to the airport.

The San Juan airport is very busy. I remember we had to go through a security line for our luggage (they tag it) and then the regular security line. You will need plenty of time at the airport.

There are many taxis at the terminal, why not book a tour?

The ship might dock at 0600, or even earlier, but you won't start disembarking until 0730 or later. The most likely thing is that by the time you get off the ship, go through immigration, and find your bags, you'll have just enough time to get to the airport.

take a taxi to the Marriott in Condado, check your luggage and enjoy a drink and some lunch and then taxi on over to the airport...breaks up the wait and at least you are not stuck in the airport.

San Juan being San Juan, if they're lucky they will probably have between 3-4 from the time they disembark until they have to board their flight. That's just enough time to deal with the airport on a cruise day.
