Default Need help deciding on Carnival Freedom

I have been on both RCCL Mariner of the Seas and Freedom of the Seas and am thinking about the Carnival Freedom. How will this ship compare with these two ships. I have been on other Carnival smaller ships, but I enjoy the larger ships. Any info would be helpful. Thanks...

Never been on RCI but I have been on the Freedom.. it is a Conquest class which is biggest next to the Splendor and the Dream.. I can tell you that the Freedom is alot bigger than the smaller Carnival ships.. until you try it for yourself you won't know whether you will like it or not.. We loved the Freedom.. give her a try and I am sure you will LUV her

I hve sailed the voyager and thought that ship was too big for me.
Have sailed the Liberty twice and found it to be the erfect size for us.
We are booked for the Freedom in March.

Hmm, i found them to be comparable with food and service with Royal Caribbean costing a bit more then carnival. Carnival cabins are little bit bigger then Royal caribbean. I know I never found they I took a step down on carnival from Royal caribbean

We love RCCL and Princess. We did Liberty of the Seas last year and loved it. We had not done Carnival for about 10 years, but did the Freedom and just loved it. Was one of our best cruises.

I was under the impression that the OP was asking about the ship itself as they mentioned the words smaller and larger.

Which do you think offers a more beautifull ship?

I've been on Mariner of the Sea and Carnival Freedom. As far as ships itself, I think the Mariner is more elegant then Freedom....but I'm not picky about looks, so that wasn't a big deal for me. I don't think it had more to offer as far as amenities....as far as I can remember. Both service and food was great on both ships. I say if you are going to give Carnival a try...I think the Freedom would be a good choice. My husband didn't think he would like Carnival, but he has definitly changed his mind...with the 2 Carnival ships we have been on...the Triumph and the Freedom. We even purchased a future Carnival cruise, travel voucher on our last cruise. So we will be sailing Carnival again! Good luck with your decision.....I really don't think you will be disappointed with the Freedom, unless looks are a big factor to you.

Oh and OP, sorry I missed that you have already been with Carnival on the smaller ships......but I still stand by my words, I don't think you will be disappointed with the Freedom!
