Trying to determine when is the best time to go to greece. I am holding cabins for both the above dates but am concerned about the weather in early May. Aitrfare is a couple hundred less in early may but have read may can be rainy.Please help and thanks for any advice.

I don't think a couple weeks will make that much difference so I'd pick whichever works best for you, schedule and price wise. BTW, we were there in early-mid May and didn't see a drop of rain.

We have done both and it really depends if you want to spend any time at the beach. The weather was really beautiful on both trips although the later date was hot in Rome but we did go for a swim at a few ports. The beaches are not set up for beachgoers in Greece in early May but the temps will be close to 75-80 so perfect for sightseeing. The ports will also be a little less crowded in early May. I would choose the May 3rd date.
