Canada Place to get new Sails

I posted this also under Alaska in ports.

As Holland America sails out of Canada Place to Alaska I thought many of you would like to know this.

It appears that Canada Place is getting new sails starting in May of 2010. This is right at the start of the Alaska cruise season.

Now with the Pan Pacific being part of Canada Place the construction noise could bother some as it did when they built the new Trade and Convention Centre. I see access to the outside promenade of Canada Place will likely be completely closed for the time.
