Default Past Guest Party Question.

I have net been to a past quest party on Carnival. Only on RCCL.. So my question is will I be the only one to get to attend that is in my cabin or can everyone in my cabin go as well?

Only the people that have cruised carnival before will get a past guest invitation.

On my last cruise, on the Liberty in October, I took my mother with me, and she had never been on Carnival before. So I brought her with me and at the door I handed my invitation to the gentleman and said my mother was with me. There was no problem, and he graciously wished us an enjoyable evening. I figured if they said no, I just wouldnt go. Anyway, it only about 45 mins to 1 hr long, but waiters with drinks and appetizers were plentiful.

They are only on cruises for 5 days or longer. Im not sure how long your cruise is. They dont have them on 4 day cruises. Im assuming your cruise is at least 5 days?

They usually will allow you to bring in ONE guest Iv been told. Your child will probably be off in Camp or something. Its not really a good place to bring children where they serve achohol. Just bring hubby if you want.

This question gets people upset on this board. I will tell you what we did. There were 7 of us, 3 were past Carnival cruisers. When the party started I asked the person who was working the door if we could all attend as we were traveling together or if it was only for the past guests. He asked an assistant CD who said it was fine for us all to attend. We returned and presented the 3 invitations and we were all admitted without incident.

On our next cruise 6 of the 7 are past guests so I plan to ask again before we head down with the one who is not a past guest to confirm.

Don't count on it. Technically, only past guests are invited to go and while some people do report that they were able to bring others, if there are a lot of past guests on the particular cruise, they may be more strict.

I've always had an invitation in my cabin for myself (the past guest) and a guest. It reads something like,

"Dear Andrea *****, you and your guest are cordially invited to Carnival's Past Guest Cocktail Party tonight..."

No one's ever said a word when I've handed them the invitation and the two of us have walked in. Never tried it with a bunch of non-past-guests, though.

We sailed on the Glory - I was a past guest and my husband was not. I received an invite and when we went to the party I handed the invite to the person at the door and told them my husband was with me. They said no problem and we both enjoyed the party!
