Default Triumph boarding

I know that the Triumph has been leaving from New Orleans a couple of hours late. Any recent travelers, what time were you able to board the ship. I was wondering if debarkation was taking longer therefore making it a later boarding time.

We to in a few days and usually we like to get to the port around 11:30. I just don't want to wait in line forever.

If the ship returns as [or aproximately] as scheduled, you should be able to embark by 11am-noon. Debarkation usually takes 2-3 hours.

Might take a little ironing out the wrinkles, a bigger ship with more people to deal with. Give it time before you worry. Im boarding next Wednesday.

I just returned from this cruise today. We received a call from Carnival telling us we caould fro at 10:30 am. We did about 2 hours late. Leaving late did not make us late to our first port. If you can carry your bags of the boat yourself when you return you will get off very quickly. I was in my vehicle at 7:50 am and driving away by doing the self baggage thing. US CUSTOMS was very quick and we did not have any problems

Most ships in Nola usually start boarding at 11:00-11:30. Weddings first & VIP right behind them.

Don't you mean Thursday? Unless you are arriving in N.O. on Wednesday. I'd start a day early if we weren't such a short drive to the port. We have seen you, Firefly 333, on several posts of past cruises.
We are booked on the Triumph leaving N.O. on thursday.

Carnival called us on Friday and stated we could board earlier than stated on Saturday (10:30am). We arrived early and found alot of people still trying to get off the boat as we were arriving.

We boarded about 11:30 on our cruise two weeks ago. We did leave port late, but that had nothing to do with when boarding began - we began the same time as always. Just one small wedding party before us, and then we were the first on the ship. Debarkation did not begin until 8:05 AM, but we were out of the terminal by 8:10 :-)

The ship left on time this past sailing, we saw it pass our house a LOT earlier than it has been the past few sailings. I think it was to be expected that Triumph would set sail late its first few times out of NOLA - it's a new situation for both the crew and the terminal staff, and they had to settle into the new routine.

We were on the Thanksgiving cruise and we left about 6:30. Right before the life drill started Jorge, the Cruise Director, announced that we would be leaving a little late because they were still loading supplies. He also said that it would not make our arrival into Key West late...and it did not.

I think they are still working out the kinks.

How was Jorge? We had Jamie (Squishie) the week before and I did not care for him at all.
