It could be warm 70's or it could be cold in the 40's. I have only gone out of Baltimore in the summer but the first 8 hours is down the bay. The bay is usually calm but a storm a couple of weeks ago closed the port. That is the first time I have heard that the port was closed.

Baltimore can either be slight warm at 60s, 70s or be in the 40s feeling like it could snow. I would say about two days at sea before you can safely wear shorts. Just stay inside until you hit the Caribbean.

I will be going out of Baltimore April 4 th on the Pride so I guess I will find out how warm it is. It will be warmer than Toronto but you can never tell. It is that ify time of the year. The cherry blossoms come out around that time.

We went out of NY in late April ( I live in No. VA, about 1.5 hours south of the Baltimore port) and it was cool, wet and windy the day we left, but you never know. We've had winter days in the 70's. I do know that it got warm enough on the second day (first full sea day) that I was comfortable in shorts, although we couldn't go outside because of the wind the first day. That was unusual as we were on the tail end of a gale. We're going out of NJ this March and we'll go prepared for any weather.

I have lived in Maryland just south of Baltimore for 35 years. March especially early March are really unpredictable. Last year it was the only snow of the year ( we were in Key West that week! brilliant.)

The port is really easy to get in and out of at least for drop-off. I have never gone out of this port but my children have gone many times and we take and drop off like good grandparents.
