I know she is and older/smaller ship, but I have read some of her reviews and everyone seems to be ho hum about her? Is she like the "stepchild" of NCL? Someone throw me a bone and tell me everything is going to be o.k. I have until tomorrow night to pay my balance, so I can still bail if need be.
NOLA is an easy drive for us and the cruise offers 4 ports of call, so in my book it's a no-brainer. Anyone?

The Spirit happens to be the first cruise we were on. It was a 12 day Southern Carib. cruise and to this day is our favorite ship. Her outside spaces are terrific and her quiet spaces are wonderful. If you like big pools and spa pools, they're smaller. I think her food is quite original and her specialty restaurants are better than most. Her crew is attentive and always cleaning or painting something. Last time on her 11/07, the crew was wonderful, have Emails from many of the staff. Norwegian cruise prices are generally more reasonable than others, but they are persistent in selling everything on board, surprise there. If you're into wonderful people and relaxing times she's for you. Guatemala, Belize and Cozumel are neat ports. I'm even thinking about another repositioning cruise in April or October. Have a great time.
