Default Coral Princess Balcony dividers on Baja Deck

Does anyone know if the balcony divider between B420 and B422 on Baja Deck on the Coral Princess opens?

We are in B420 and our friends are in B422 and we would like to open the divider up so we can share the balcony.

Yes, I believe they have doors on both sides, UNLIKE the Dolphin Deck mid-ship minis that only have a door on one side.

I remember trying to make a mental note of the fact that the higher decks seemed to have doors on both sides since it was such an anomoly that the Dolphin Decks didn't.

Thanks for that. I was wondering because I had read somewhere that the doors only opened on one side.

Our Baja balcony on the Coral opened both ways. However, the doorway is small and having it open will not actually turn the two baconies into one big space. Hope that was not what you were hoping for.

The opening is about 30 inches.

Here is a picture that shows the size of the opening. If you look through the opening you can see the door that opens on the other side.

These are not big balconies and just big enough for 2 or 3 people... definitely not for 4 in chairs unless you remove the table.

No, that is fine. Just what I was looking for. Thanks capnjack for that photo. We just want to be able to have easy access to each other instead of having to go out into the hallway and through the door. We will still be able to talk to each other on our respective balconies.

There are some balconies on all the decks that do NOT open or are not connecting.
B420 and 422 do happen to connect however.

In rough seas the balcony divider doors on island princess banged around incessantly. We first tried to prop it with furniture, then we tried to prop it with luggage, then we just closed it and used it only occasionally as a pass-thru or conversation door.

In calm waters, though it seemed to not be such a problem, but the wind did make it a little unstable.

It was a little disconcerting at night to hear it whacking your deck chairs around in the wind and rolling seas.

Maybe this could be a new use for the duct tape we bring along and rarely use. A divider door silencer... I will be on the Coral over the holidays and was hoping to have the divider door open to our friends next door but not if it is going to be banging in the wind.
