Does anyone know where i can get some good chicken and rice maybe a place locals eat at.

I can't recall if it's on the menu, but there's a place called El Porton located at the edge of the wal-mart parking lot (near the tire place), that serves very good local dishes (both mexican and yucatecan). They have a menu posted outside (in spanish), so if you're downtown you might check it out.
