Yes / No

They have handicapped rooms and no none of the planned ports require a tender.

Sorry to disagree but St. Maarten is a tender port and St. Thomas may be, depending on the other ships in port that day. We have tendered at both ports previously. Don't worry though. There are crew designated to assist any wheelchair person.

We can agree to disagree. All Epic ports will be docked. Same thing for the Oasis of the Sea and the reason both ships are hitting some of the same ports.

Perhaps you haven't cruised to those ports recently? St. Maarten now has a large cruise ship pier...although on the outskirts of Phillipsburg, and there was an additional pier built in St. Thomas.

Every time I've been in St. Maarten we've docked at the pier.

In St. Thomas at the beginning of this year there were 5 to 6 ships in port on many of the days. Three at the original docks (West India Company) and another one or two across town at the new docks (Crown Bay); plus a ship or two anchored in the bay. The Dawn was anchored about once a month from January to April. We got lucky on our day; the Dawn was between a couple Carnival ships at the West India Company docks and a HAL ship was at the Crown Bay docks.

About a month before your cruise you can go to this web site (vinow) to see which ships are in port and where you will probably go to dock (or anchor).

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out what that poster was talking about. Last time we were there, and as you can see in this pic, the docks at St. Maarten are being expanded.
