Pay a little more and get one of the six handicapped cabins if it is that important to you.

Have a great cruise.
Money is not an issue. The point is that if HC cabins are available and allocated to AB people this is what has seemed to upset previous threads i was just asking advice.

I am content with the cabin i have been allocated and as i have said a few grab rails makes life easier for anyone with disability problems. I do not need the fully accessible doorway as i am not in a wheelchair but grab rails and shower seats can be useful and maybe could be considered by cruise lines.

If an HC cabin would be available in the same category as the regular cabin you're in, then they should be able/willing to move you...at no extra cost..if you wanted to move into that cabin. But since the HC cabins that ARE available are in a different..more expensive..category, then they're only willing to move if you're willing to pay the difference.

Have a great cruise.

Default Shower stools

I believe that Princess has shower stools available if you request one. You might ask the room steward for one if they do have them. The showers are small but not impossible. ( I just lean against the wall for support.)

Another option is to "borrow" a deck chair from the pool area. They work well as shower chairs for those who just need to sit while bathing. I used to do this before we purchased our own travel shower/commode chair.

It seems to me that HC friendly cabins would not be that expensive to achieve in a refit.

How many people do you think want a soak in a bog common bath tub on a cruise? I think almost everybody I know showers....
FYI: The tubs are needed for families with small children. Otherwise parents have to travel with a blowup pool and figure out how to fill it and empty it in order to bathe their little ones. Another example of different passengers having different needs...
