Default Please support our troops this holiday season !!

XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL

If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them.

This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you. Please take the time... and please take the time to pass it on for others to do. We can never say enough thank you's.

Thanks for taking time to support our troops!

OK Thanks. I misread your post. When you said "just send a postcard" I thought you meant to physically go out, buy a card and send it throught the mail. My mistake.

I think it would be a waste of time if you ask me since our President while running for office has stated he will be bringing the troops home and he has been in almost a year now so they should all be home soon right?

Steve

OK, I sent one.

I am Stationed here in Iraq at Camp Taji, Those letters and Care packages do really mean something to us out here. I have Soldiers that is what they do is visit the Chaplains pantry that has a ton of care packages he hands out for everyone on the camp. For the younger SOldiers it especially means something because the items sent saves them from buying and spending the outragous prices for things here. and having a family and only getting E-3 and E-4 pay helps tremedously.

But everyones thoughts and generousity really, REALLY touched us in all ways you just can't imagine, think of it being Christmas everyday and the knowing that we have everyday hard working Americans thinking of us.

I would especially acknowledge the Spouses of Soldiers and Servicemen. They are truly the unsung heros of the American Soldier and servicemember, they very rarely are noticed and talked about in the public sector in my opinion. Without their support mentally and emotionally, we could not focus and and wholeheartedly putforth the efforts to fight through the difficult times here as well. I would also like to say Keep up good work and say Thank you for all you do and I give you all a snappy salute to the wives, parents and the kind american poeple who day in and day out constantly reminding us that we are thought of and appreciated.

I visit this site as much as I can because this is my form of therapy from stress which reminds of the peace and serenity of being on the water and cruise around.. Being an Eastcoaster I can't get it out of my blood.

Being the Mom of an Airman that has been to Iraq and Afghanastan 6 times since this war began I can feel for the Wives and Families of all of our Military personnel over there in harms way.
Please be safe and all of you come home safely. Here is hoping you have a very Merry Christmas, or as we say on the Islands--Mele Kalikimaka!!
Thank you again,
Ret. MSGT Tom Harris and Gerry Harris
