Room question

We just received our room assignment. Looks like we are on Deck 8 port side right under the Lido pool deck. Do you hear much noise from above? Otherwise looks like a good location

There shouldn't be any noise to disturb you....your ceiling is NOT the floor of the deck above!

I just returned from the Westerdam. My suite was SS 8043. We also dined with another guest down several cabins from us. You definitely can hear noise from the Lido deck above. The other guests had that same issue. They seem to move deck furniture around and it starts at 6:00 in the morning and goes until late in the evening. I would not book another cabin in a SS cat on the eighth deck on the Westerdam. The SY and SZ cost less and do not seem to have that noise issue. That being said, I had a terrific cruise and there were almost no disappointments other than the noise from the Lido deck above us. Pierce
