Wow! Glad I don't drink.

If I spent that much on drinks, I wouldn't be able to afford the cruise.

Spend enough on drinks and you won't even care, haha.

If you like Margarita's on many days they have a 2 for 1 deal in the On Air lounge on Deck 3 beside the ice rink. Check your compass each day. I believe it was late afternoons maybe 5 pm or so till like 7 pm. Good way to save some bucks.

do those prices on the photos of the drink menu have the 15% gratuity included? $5.75 for a 16 oz Budweiser seems like a lot? if tip is added on after it

Congrats on your recent election to the Moral High Ground. You have no clue that $500.00 is not a lot of money for two people to spend on booze. I spend twice that and never get drunk.

My 2 cents worth. I barely ever drink( alchohol) and when I do I'm a light weight! That said when I do drink it is fruity frozen drinks and usually when we are on vacation. BUT even I can run up a good bar bill on a cruise. I'm not driving anywhere, I don't have to go to work in the morning, I'm not looking after small children (in fact this next cruise will be the first we've taken our girls on and they will be teens) So there is no good reason for me not to enjoy. At the prices they charge for my fruity drinks even I who have about a 3 drink limit can drink 3 drinks in the afternoon and 3 more during the dinner / show hours. In 7 days WOW I'm an alchy...LOL!
Doesn't really take much but it adds up quickly.

Oh crap, We spent over $1100.00 on an 11 day Carnival Caribbean cruise in 1999. I'm going to need a second mortgage in Feb 2010.

The OP was looking for info on drink prices, not a lecture. They are about the same as you would find in your local pub.
