I read on John Heald's blog that the Captain did have a triple bypass and he is now home and resting and will be back on a ship in January.

I think that maybe one of the problems that the Splendor is having with PV is that when I was on the Pride, it fit in there just perfectly, but there was not much room between her and the ship parked next to us (which is at an angle) It is like the Splendor parks heading North and the other ship parks heading West. I know when we pulled in the other ship was already there, so my feelings are that since the Splendor is so much bigger then the Pride, maybe the port did not realize that she may need more room to maneuver then the Pride did.

I'm confused. Is this photo taken from a 3rd ship as the Splendor was docking--as they hit? We were on the 11/29 cruise (the one that left 6 hours late after the cruise before us returned to Cabo and then ran into rough seas), and the boat was not docked this close--and it was farther back. We had a balcony side room directly out from the Radiance.

I'll bet other captains are taking that sign they hang on the back of the ship alot more seriously now, "Stay back"

I think they just need to stick on a whole bunch of rubber tires around that ship.
