Docks in Dublin, Ireland

I've read that there are 2 docks in Dublin, Ireland (Howth and Dun Laoghaire). Anyone happen to know which one cruise ships might dock at?

Cruise ships dock at neither Howth or Dun Laoghaire but at the Port of Dublin within two miles of the city centre.

Thank you very much!! Our cruise also stops in Belfast - any suggestions for what to see or where to go? I'm very excited to see Ireland.

There are such a lot of things to do it's hard to know where to start! Usually seeing The Antrim Coast and Giants Causway is top of the vistors' list and while in the region also doing a tour of the Bushmills Distillery. In previous threads 'Coxswain' has given many tips on 'What to do in Northern Ireland' - I have found one of them -

Doing a search on this forum of 'Belfast' and 'Northern Ireland' will bring up many posts with suggestions/reviews from previous cruisers. If there is anything in particular you need information about, there are plenty of us 'locals' around to help!

Here is what we did in Belfast on a private tour:
Drive around Belfast viewing the Murals, City Hall, Grand Opera House, Queens University, Albert Memorial Clock, and a brief stop at the Titanic Dry Dock. Travel along part of the beautiful coastal road and take in the stunning views. Visit WHITE PARK BAY and the historic BUSHMILLS DISTILLERY which has been making whiskey since 1608 (and of course try a little dram). Then on to the GIANTS CAUSEWAY to view the remarkable rock formations. The lunar landscape of the Giant's Causeway is a World Heritage Site-the basalt columns packed tightly together have made the Giant's Causeway the subject of numerous legends. Altogether there are 40,000 of these hexagonal stone columns and the tallest are about 40 feet high. Legend claims that Finn McCool-a lovelorn Irish giant-built the causeway to reach his ladylove in Scotland.
