Default 2nd and 3 rd cruises

Having a had a fantastic first cruise experience on Radiance of the seas through Alaska my wife and I are looking at doing a 7 night cruise out of Rome on Navigator of the seas to Barcelona,Nice etc and a 7 night cruise out of Venice to the Greek islands. We are looking at inside cabins for both but were wondering if we should get a Promonade View room on Navigator and if so is there any particular room numbers that may be better than others. We are looking at travelling in mid August from Rome and late September from Venice,is the weather good to cruise at this time?.

I can't help with cabin selection, but August will be very hot, and the kids are still on holiday. September would be much better IMHO.

anything in the midship area is preferable and I like decks 7,8, or 9 as they are in between floors of cabins rather then over possible noisy public areas. August will be much hotter. We just did the med in mid Oct and it was still quite warm in Barcelona but Venice and Florence were down right chilly. Sept would be perfect in my estimation. Have you looked at the BOS itinerary? It was wonderful.

Promenade cabins are generally midship but I have heard that you should take the higher deck ones because it can be noisy on the promenade so if you're noise sensitive the higher deck would be better. Just what I've heard.

I just had my first promenade view on the Navigator and loved it! We were in cabin 8275 and had a great view both ways...it was right across from the pub, but we really couldn't hear noise from there on deck 8. You could hear noise during the parades, but I liked that because I was watching them! I think deck 7 could have been nice, but deck 6 would have been too close.

We sailed on the Legend in the Med, but it is a very port intensive area. We spent alomost no time in our cabin so we were glad we booked an iside on deck 7 or 8? (it was a GTY) and made use of our money elsewhere.

Loved, loved, loved, sailing in europe.... wish I could be going back soon

I was on deck 6 and loved it. No noise issues, the windows are almost too sound proof, we wished we could have heard the parade sounds.
