We will be arriving in Aruba on the Zuiderdam on a Sunday. Will the malls and other shops be open at all?

Hi there!
You didnt mention what time of year- You might find many of the shops downtown closed. Perhaps if you take a cab/bus closer to the hotels you will find more acitivity. Malls open and beach shops open too. The cab fare on SUnday wld be $12 and busses run every hour $1.30 each way. On a SUnday I wld say grab whichever comes first. Hv a nice day in Aruba. |

One of our cruises last year, the ship stopped in Aruba on Sunday and only about 25% of the downtown shops were open. The largest/best were closed. It had to be busy cruise season because HAL only sails the Caribbean between mid April and mid October. They pull all ships to other itineraries for the other six months of the year.
