Default Las Hadas & toddler & Manzanillo

I am traveling on the Carnival Spirit on January 14, 2010 with my DW and DD. My DD will be 2 years (35 months) on the trip. We want to go to Las Hadas for the day in Manzanillo. However, we are weighing the cost of going to the resort as it would be $90 if you include my daughter. I do not think I can justify the $30 for her. Do we know if Las Hadas charges the full price for toddlers/small children? I would be better knowing they had a "lower" rate for children as she is not likely to use much of her $30.

Otherwise, perhaps a good beach recommendation in Manzanillo for a family?

Thanks

right next to las hadas is Audencia Beach. It is all set up for tourist fun.

Audencia Beach is more fun, lots to see, lots to do

las hadas is an older resort

the pictures look better than the Las Hadas resort is. No one is ever there. Kinda boring for us. We just walk right in, take a quick walking tour, and we are off to other sights

Default children rates

Just read on another post that children between the ages of 6-12 are around $20 and under 6 are free. Hope that helps, we are on carnival jan 14th as well and we have 7-5 and 9 month old.

enjoy!

Las Hadas is nice, we loved the pool. Not sure a toddler will enjoy it, but the beach is fine. Bring sand shoes as the sand was hot, hot, hot!

We loved the resort. It was nice and peaceful with a nice beach area. When you pay the 30 to get in, you receive 30$ in vouchers to use at the resort. It is a great deal. The cruise ship went there--charged double the amount and they were there less time then we were. The taxi ride is 5$. The cab driver will try to talk you into going somewhere else as the rode is rather bumpy to the resort. If in Manz again, would definetly do!

Hope that helped!

How much was the taxi to Audencia beach? How where the restrooms? How close can some get to the beach that uses a handicap scooter?
