We certainly were! Sadly we missed the M&M because we never got our invitation but I went to the slot pull. We were also on the group with Dan that went to the El Limon waterfalls in Samana (which was incredible, by the way!).

We could have the East Ghost Explorers II under way!

Hey, Mamapan and CMCruisers,

We are seriously considering this cruise also. It has been a toss up with this cruise and the Celebrity Silhouette maiden voyage on November 6, 2011. I know that Raj and Kiran, Ed and Claudia, and Karen and Russ will be on this cruise. I will probably book both cruises and decide later. If you guys have not already booked yet, I am trying to work out a group deal with my travel agent on a large group discount, so I will check from time to time on this board to see how the chatter is going, and if anyone is interested in getting a group rate, e-mail me prior to booking yours to see if we can get a better rate and more perks.

Gee, I wonder if people will still remember me. I was the shy one, the non-talkative one on the last cruise!

Ernie

You are right, Raj, we are all talking like we all know each other already, but there are some who do not. For those of you who do not, we are Ernie and Sharon, we have been on the Explorer twice before, and have done this itinerary at least 5 times, and always loved it. We are not completely decided whether our next trip will be this one or the Celebrity Silhouette on November 6, 2011, but I can vouch for the people who already are committed to this cruise (or should be committed, in my line of work!), anyone going on this cruise with the former East Ghost Explorers will be in for a real treat, they (we?) are very fun-loving and guarantee that it will be a trip to remember!

So who is everyone else? How about Raj's suggestion of being called the East Ghost Explorers II ("The sequel, just when you thought it was safe to go back to the ship....")

We have a lot of chatter to do before this cruise. Our last board had more than 4200 posts by the time we boarded the ship, and it is still active! We may be going for the record on this one. I think we had the record for the most in our Meet & Mingle group, 189 members!!!

No matter which trip we choose, I will still be active with this board, it has great people, and I am sure there will be more former EGEs to sign up as time goes on.

Ernie

GOOD! that would all make it on the shirt.

OK, and I am Ed, with my wife Claudia, 17 year old daughter Gabrielle, and 12 year old daughter Hannah (19 year old son is away at college), as Ernie and Raj said, we were all just on the EOS 10/28/10 cruise.

We had shirts made (Orange ring one was on the small front pocket, the other was a large full back). We purchased 95 shirts! out of about 150 people (and made some very cool stickers as well), all sold at cost OF COURSE!. Many people on the ship asked us wear they can buy them, safe to say, many people loved them as well. The thing is, do we just alter the dates this time, or do a take on Ghostbusters 2!?

Ill make the new logos and we can all decide later, we have PLENTY OF TIME!

Default We did it!

We did it - I booked the cruise today!

YEEEE HAAAAAHH!

So we are officially coming. It will be our first time on EOS, but with the glowing recommendations of everyone on this board, we can't go wrong!

It will be just the two of us, me (51 F) and DH (56 by the time we sail). He works for a Ford dealer as a mechanic, and I work for an ad agency. Loving life at the Jersey Shore!

Anyway, did anyone ever answer about what a "hump" room is? My imagination is working overtime, so I hope someone replies quickly.

Dena from NJ

Dena,

If you look at the EOS, you will see the buldge around the middle of the ship. The "hump room" is one that is on the bump. It gives you a slightly better view of the ship from out on the balcony, looking fore and aft.

I'm thinking I might like to hear where the imagination was going on that one, Dena!

Ed, your answer was MUCH too tame, are you feeling okay?

Ed,

One large, one medium.

Looks like my order made it in first. Does that give you a good idea about our cruise status yet?

I think I saw the white smoke tonight, we've elected the pope!
