Liberty of the Seas Awesome Vacation by PWDfolks
Being first-time cruisers, we have nothing to compare our vacation to. Consequently, we immediately admit our review could be considered a bit naive. Nevertheless - this was an exceptional way to spend time together, meet some nice folks and be a little bit pampered. Stayed the night before at the Sheraton, but won't do that again. Expensive, the cool bar closed early (the loud one was open, but very loud). The employees were accommodating but overall not a lot of bang for the buck. Continue reading Awesome Vacation

Ruby Princess Princess Forgot My Birthday and Other Misadventures At Sea by Steph27
Pros: Sabatini's, Crown Grill, Sanctuary, Muster Drill Cons: Passenger Services Desk, Main Dining Rooms, Piazza, MUTS, Port Info This was our second time on Princess, but the first time on Ruby. We liked the design of the Diamond Princess more than Ruby, however it was certainly adequate. Overall we prefer to cruise on Celebrity Solstice class ships in Aquaclass which are superior in every category with food in the Specialty restaurants being a tie with Princess. Prior to our sailing on the Ruby we set our expectations accordingly. Continue reading Princess Forgot My Birthday and Other Misadventures At Sea

Norwegian Sun Our first NCL cruise but our 10th cruise by funjione
This was our first NCL cruise and we were pleasantly surprised. We always book an inside cabin for financial savings, but two days before sailing I was able to upgrade to a mid-ship balcony cabin on deck 9 for $100. This was a first for us and we absolutely loved it! There was plenty of storeage space and a nice sitting area as well as the balcony. I would have liked lounge chairs on the balcony, but I do not know if it is possible with the available space. However, now I know what everyone raves about ! Amsterdam Asia-Australia Grand Voyage by Traveling Spirit
Mom in 50s, traveling with 18 year old daughter. OK, so we don't really fit the Amsterdam's demographic, but we have traveled on the ms Amsterdam before (to Alaska, and to South America/Antarctica), so we thought we knew what to expect. Our Grand Voyage was a 70 night cruise, visiting many ports in the Far East, Australia, and a bit of the South Pacific. We sailed from our home port of Seattle, which was convenient but enabled us to take far too much luggage. The embarkation procedure was efficient. Continue reading Asia-Australia Grand Voyage

Regatta Panama Canal cruise by TKS
Our first Regatta cruise was our third Oceania sailing, and it was familiar territory. The Regatta is a lovely, small ship, well kept and immaculate, but beginning to show her age in small ways - wood floors were water damaged here and there, a few windows in public areas were discolored, obscuring views, some steel was damaged from the salt air but covered by paint. That said, it didn't diminish the "O" experience. Continue reading Panama Canal cruise
