Will be arriving Singapore in a couple of weeks.
Can anyone tell me if there are money exchange facilities in the Arrivals Hall? If so how does the exchange rate compare with else where in Singapore? Thank you. |

Yes there are several - in arrivals you have a shopping mall before you go and collect your bags and go through customs. There are also a few after you go through customs. Exchange rates aren't as good as Mustafa's in Little India or any of the shops in Orchard Road. There are also ATM's which is normally our first preference when we first arrive there. We go to Singapore yearly. mummsie

Unless you need cash right away I suggest finding a bank affiliated ATM. The percentage difference was easily 3 or 4 percent before any fees.

Singapore has mostly cash-less transactions. I would endorse the view that unless you really need cash straight away you use an ATM.

There is a money changer in the luggage hall just change eneough for taxi. there are money changers on most corners and shopping malls all of these give fair rates because of competition. they will change any currancy.Singapore is the best place to buy and change monies
Taxi walk out of airport and turn left about 50yds a concierge will put you in line and give you a taxi the taxi fares are very cheap and government controlled. you will love singapore no crime clean and very good transport. |
