The Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay seems to be the dock of choice when in Sydney, giving great views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The Queen Mary 2 docked there for the first time ever earlier this month.

Glad to see that QM2 was "reversed" into the dock. We booked our cabin for next year on the Starboard side, based on the picture of whatever was docked then when you look at Google Earth.
That way we get a day of looking at the Opera House during our one full day and night docked in Sydney. Solstice is almost as long as QM2, so I'm hoping she parks the same direction. . .

Whoo-hoo! A year from now we'll be in Sydney waiting to board the Solstice for her repositioning trip through French Polynesia to Honolulu and the US mainland. So happy to find out she'll dock at Circular Quay!

The hubby and I were on the Century cruise from Honolulu to Sydney last November, and the entry into Sydney harbor was spectacular!
