Don't forget, Ron, you're talking to an old Chief. He lives by the philosophy...

Organize...Supervise....Terrorize!

But I'm sure you've seen that before.

There has been a lot of activity on the Fantasy Roll Call on here and on it's partner Roll Call on facebook. I didn't want this thread to die out. So

What did we do in the days before Internet??? Where else could we instantly make jokes with friends in Florida, S Carolina, and points west? Hope everyone is well. We've had our week of Spring, now back to the 40's and expecting Fall anytime now. It's raining today which means we have phone and Internet. When the sun comes out , we lose it all -- don't ask, cable people have no explanation!

Question

Why does time pass so fast, except when waiting for your next cruise ???

Hi, Ron & Jean
Yup, we sure are ready. Wanted to let you know how much we appreciated you and Jean looking into the April cruises, even though it is not possible for you. We also looked into your October cruise and even though October would be okay --- we've got to stick with short little runs so that we have a chance at Platinum. Let us know what you plan for 2014 and maybe we can make a go of it (probably not January because it would be too close to our October one, but maybe later).

Just got a new contract here at the college (hasn't been voted on yet)....we're going to save the state of New York financially -- 9 days off without pay!!!!! It's a long story but we'll get some of it back by 2016.

Peg I feel your pain. As you know I work for local county government. This will be year 6 on a trail of zero merit, longevity, and merit raises for everyone. Every year the possibility of unpaid furloughs are in every budget. However we are constantly reminded ad nauseum that "Times are rough, be glad you have a job". Thank goodness that 397 days from today I will walk out that door for the last time with a wave, a smile, and a cheery K.M.A.!

I wish we could cruise with you in April. But it must be October for us. I am sure someday we will cruise together again!

April's coming soon, going to miss you and Jean being with us. As for October, as much as I envy the trip that you guys will be taking, but to meet the challenge posed by Carnival we must take two short ones.

By the way as to your Freedom trip, I have looked at all the available photos
and see only one statute that you may want to keep on eye on to rescue - it's by the pool.

I will keep an eye on her Chief! I always want to be helpful!

I think you guys need to look at a cruise on the Dream leaving October 5, 2014, eight days to the Southern Caribbean. You guys should have you Platinum or maybe even Diamond status by then! Have fun in April!

Miss Peg...?

Here you are about to do another B2B and I am still waiting for the chronicles of your last B2B2B!

I know good works can't be rushed. However I am getting old and will soon not remember that I was there for one of those segments.

Hugs my friends! I hope you and John have a wonderful time on your next cruises!

Greetings my friend. I know I'm a disappointment to all, but there's hope on the horizon. Came back in January to another faculty member in my dept. leaving for a bigger university, took forever to do income tax and just got done giving presentation in Las Vegas (on biophilia). And to make the sting even harsher, we had to use cruise money to pay Federal income tax (ask me if the Chief is a little upset).

So now it is time to sit back and relax with some coffee and return to Tales of the High Seas (better days)!

Ms. Peg you are a lot of things! A "disappointment" is certainly not one of them! Are the April cruises off now? I hope things improve in a hurry for you and the Chief!

Oh the cruise is definitely ON.....everything is paid for, so the government can't get money that they don't know about!!!! Luvmysox and her hubby are taking a cruise on 4/20 - Elation out of New Orleans. She got a new job, so she wants to get one in before she starts or else it will be a year before she can cruise again.

Did you contact players club yet or wait until a little closer to your cruise? Don't know if I mentioned it, but I did find out that players club consider any B2B as 1 cruise. So we will have free play money waiting for us, but only on the first cruise.

My best to Jean!

But you do get to keep your "Free Drink" status through the entire B2B do you not?
