I remember you telling us/me about Don's job change 8 years ago and you know Kevin was in the same situation. Fortunately, he found this job and even though he's a "road warrior," the frequent flier miles make the loneliness a little easier to handle!

Just a few more things to add to the January cruise - right now a balcony is only $559 for the 6-day cruise - & it stops at my favorite US city from 8 to 5!!!

Good morning everyone! Just thought I would check in. I am resting at home. Feeling better every day. Hoping for a peaceful day today. Between dr. appt and work, yesterday was really tiring.

Just want to express again, what a great bunch of people WATPOPWUA are. We are sailing in less than 60 days on one of the biggest ships in the world, and the roll call is 2 pages.

Seeing all the pictures of the shirts from the Dream has brought back lots a great memories. Can't wait to see everyone in October.

Good to hear from you Mary Jo I'm glad you are coming around. You just need to try to take it easy and not push yourself. I remember getting exhausted so easily. Mind you I had 4 small children at that time our twins were only 2 years old. You lucky girl cruising in 60 days that's beautiful.

Thank you everyone for all the good luck wishes as far as Don's employment goes. He's polishing up his resume this weekend.

sitting around on a Saturday...Braden is at the house while Beth and Makenna go dress shopping. Her brother is getting married in a few months, and both Makenna and Braden will be in the wedding. He is such a good boy! We went to Walmart a while ago, and Papa bought him another Hero Factory guy. They are lego-type robot looking figures. He put it together by himself...which is good because I am not sure Grandma would be able to do it

If the weather hold, we will be going to the festival here in Deltona. Outdoors, lots of booths to walk around, stuff for the kids, music and some great food too. Sun is out right now, but it is very muggy and the air is heavy. I am sure the rain will be here by tonight. Yesterday we had hail that covered the entire yard, and so much rain in such a short time that it washed away some of the retention drains. Yikes!

Anyway, just thought I'd check in, and share some of my day. Love you all...

I was just thinking about this lonely Roll Call Betty. :-). Hope everyone has a great weekend. I'll be working on wedding stuff for my niece's wedding, which is 2 weeks from today. Centerpieces, tablecloths, lighting and decor, etc, etc. Feel like I've got a handle on it and no idea what's what, all at the same time!

Love watching my grand daughter play flag football. Her parents are the coachs on her team. They play all boy teams and their name is "Cowboys". This will be their last time playing since they all will be going in to Jr. High next year and play school sports.

I was thinking the same thing earlier this week. How this rollcall has been on life support. I really miss all the activity.

I am going back to work full time next week. So hopefully it will be an easy monthend.

We have been on the softball field for most of the weekend. Rebecca's team went 2-1 today.

I think I have all the arrangements made for our cruise in June. Really looking forward to getting away for awhile.

Hello all my fellow WATPOPWUA's all is well in the Fennell household.
The last time I posted here Don's job was not looking good. Well the tide has turned two of his big sleeping accounts have woke up so they are placing orders again. In the mean time he did apply at another company that has been scouting him for awhile and they have made him a offer.

It would be much easier in some ways to stay where he is yet he was so unhappy with the way they started treating him when his 2 biggest accounts were not placing orders. He said I could never trust them again.

I always think God works in mysterious ways because it was a bit of a wake up call. We really need to tighten our belts and be a bit more prepared.

I never even told you all I bought a new car at the end of March. My 2003 Infiniti was slowly dying. The final blow was it needing 3 catalytic converters price $4K. My car had 160K miles on it.

I was looking for a high MPG car since I commute to work everyday. I ended up buying a Hyundai Elantra 40 mpg I really love this car.

Mary Jo I am so happy to hear you are back to work and back at the baseball field.

Geri I hope you are having fun with the wedding prep for your neice's wedding.

Betty I hope our grandkids play sports so I can sit in the stands again. Our son's played all the normal sports and we loved cheering them on.

Marylou are things settling down yet on that new job? It seems like you are posting a tiny bit more.

I hope you are doing well- and Yvonne- I'm glad that Don has choices! It seems like employers just see the number, and not the person- even after you have worked with them for a long time.

I'm still not nuts about my job- the owner is an idiot, and acts very inappropriately, Thank God he is is rarely in the office. I like his wife, but she is a bit of a primadona too.( I have to make her fax cover sheets, and order her lunch- ***?) I guess I'm just not the right kind of person to be an assistant. I figure everyone should just do their own stuff!

I may start looking around again after I get back from my cruise. Its in 40 more days, and while I'm excited- I know I will be lonely without all of you.


I love my new car, and its so nice not be embarrassed to get in it!
Thank you for the offer, Yvonne- but I got the carfax on it- and it was well serviced and taken care of. I only put about 4 miles on the car a day- so it should last awhile!

Hi all, nice ride Yvonne. Also so glad that Don has choices with his job.
Did you all see the story on GMA this morning about a parking place that took a customers car out for a spin and to run errands and so on while the owners where suppose to be on a cruise. Instead it was a news story and they had put a GPS in the $60,000 car to see if others that had complain was true. Well I for one would not leave the car keys with anyone if I owned a car like that. lol

Glad things are woirking out for Don looks like it might be even better that you guys expected that is awesome. I'm keeping busy raising my 4 month old puppy and working way too much.... this cruise can't come soon enough for me. Gonna miss my Sis though and Dianne and Kevin.
