The dry season in the southern Caribbean ends around April. Though tropical storms tend not to form until after June 1st, they are not unheard of in May. I believe there has been 1 on record in April.

But the Caribbean Sea is a big place: it covers just over 1 million square miles. To where in the Caribbean are you referring?

Although the caribbean is very very hot most of the year, April and May are still less sweltering than june, july and august are. Its always be hot in those places what else can go wrong? Your closest to the equator and its very hot there year round that is why the igaunas like it, its hot and dry... unlike me I like the coolness but then again, its not florida too or nyc either?

the best months to visit st. thomas, st. marrten and other caribbean ports is Jan, Feb and March, when the weather up north is cold, you can soak up the cool balmy breezes and no to hardly no rain, the rain comes in mid june to late nov when we have the hurricane season and then the ship will go rolly polly and up and down... highly recommend product for ears and nausea is motion eaze to relieve the feeling this is on line so order now.
