LOL Annie, I got a warning not too long ago. I got fed up with some drivel on another board and called the person a troll... lol. And the Activities Director on the LOS in October KNEW who I was... OMG... haha!

Tomorrow is SHOPPING!! My sister in law and I are headed out in the morning to shop for my trip!! Should be LOTS of fun!!

Sandi, are you on the Crown's TA next week? What a terrific itinerary -- Alexandria and Istanbul on a cruise that starts from Florida -- you're really covering a lot of ground! Are you going to stay in Venice post-cruise, or have you been there before?

Pam I hope you were successful on your shopping trip. I'm really sad that we don't get to go to Hawaii this year. We"re getting new kitchen cabinets next month & I guess that will have to be our cruise/big trip for a while!

Shopping was a SUCCESS!!!! Last weekend I got three new outfits, which I needed for the trip and for work.

This week, I got a new sundress, a short sleeved sweater to go over, new jammies, 2 new pairs of shoes and a new purse. Not just any purse, a Vera Wang bag. I have NEVER in my life spent more than $20 on a purse. I am too hard on my purses, so I just get cheap ones are Wal Mart or KMart. This one was marked at voer $100... eeeeek! Luckily it was 50% off and my SIL had a coupon for another 20% off our entire purchases.

I am not a shopper (although I can see how easy it would be for me to become one... lol). Having been a single mom, with bills, for so long, for me to get new clothes or new shoes was a necessity, never a luxury. The kids always came first. Now that we are pretty much debt free.... WOW. This shopping sport can be fun! lol

Oh Annie, I WISH I was on the Crown through to Venice! We're only on the first 14 days, ending in Rome. The whole reason we got this cruise was for roundtrip airfare between Rome and Atlanta. We purchased tickets for May 12 and then November 18 for our fall Greek Isles/Med Transatlantic on the Crown. By doing that we saved enough on the airfare to pay for the 14 day cruise this spring.

So therefore we couldn't stay on the ship until Venice, had to get off in Rome. We'll see Venice this fall instead. Alexandria and Istanbul have to wait, too.

Guess what, I forgot to watch the FLL webcam yesterday! I missed the Crown going out on its last Caribbean cruise this spring. And plenty of other ships, too, I'll bet. DARN! Better check it today to make up for it.

We are on our way again from FLL. The Caribbean was kind to us with only one rainy day. I thought the sailaway would be wet but the clouds let the sun through for us. Onwards to Barcelona... first stop Portugal in a week.

Sandi, I leave next Friday, May 4 to fly into LAX. I am spending the night with my mom and sister and we fly out early on May 5 to Maui. We return on May 11. I am taking the red eye from LAX to Memphis and arriving on May 12.
