Thanks Joe for including us Rockin' Royals from Northern California in your list and thanks to Judy for her hospitality! We're looking forward to meeting everyone. DW & I grew up in San Diego before moving to the Napa Valley back in 1990. We're hoping to answer your question about whether people on the ship can see you waving as we'll be on the Sapphire as she leaves port on the 6th.

Just had to drop in and stir up a little trouble since it's Joe's Birthday, this little short guy from Santa Clarita. I think for the next year he'll be travelling that very famous Will Rodger's Highway ( hint at age )

Thank you all for your good wishes. BTW I have never been to Route 66. One of the few places we have not tried. Is it good? We do like the Greek Restaurant which is across the street.

Route 66 is ok, just a diner. Oggi's is the one with the good chicken tequila pasta. Great for home delivery when you don't feel like cooking. I've been to Athena's only once. Have you tried the Great Greek on Ventura Blvd? That's great Greek food and lively atmosphere.

For a taste of Venice, the Italian Job, was on TV with great shots of Venice canals and St Marks square. Can't wait to be there again!

Yes the one on Soledad. I have found that we do have some pretty good restaurants in Santa Clarita but I have yet to find a really good Italian. Anyone in the area been to one?

love Sisely in the Valencia mall. Also Maria's Italian deli on Lyons is good. They have some good Prosecco there. Speaking of wine, anyone like this sparking Italian wine? I read about it in the book A Thousand Days in Venice and have been drinking it ever since.

white. Really good with appetizers. Maybe I should bring some to our M&G. Prosecco brut presto is one, santa margherita valdobbiadene Prosecco is the other one in my fridge. You can find Prosecco by the champagne at bev mo, World Market Cost plus, Whole Foods, Sprouts,Maria's. Really delightful taste. If you try it, let me know what you think.

My all time favorite drink is 103 Brandy which you can only get in Spain. I'll definitely be getting some at our Barcelona stop. It's really smooth. Not like the Brandy here. Oh, and put mojitos at the top of the list too.
