Embarkation lunch on Silhouette

Will the Bistro on 5 or the Porch restaurants be available for lunch after boarding or just the Oceanview Cafe buffet? Thanks.

Bistro is open, not sure about the porch. Also, the Aqua Spa cafe should be open and the grill...

Thanks. Heard good things about the Bistro. Wonder if it is usually less crowded than the buffet? Hate having to roam to find an empty table. So many are just sitting around waiting for the staterooms to be available.

Last September my daughter and I had lunch at Bistro On Five on the Silhouette on Embarkation Day. We were the only people there. It was great.

We have had our first lunch at the Bistro on 5 when we sailed on the Equinox and the Silhouette. It is a wonderful way to start a cruise, good food and service. No crowds, no searching for a table, just a relaxing lunch.

The mast grille should be open for hot dogs and burgers.There won't be anyone there either,the staff just sends everyone to the buffet. Tom

We avoid the buffet like the plague. Lunch at Bistro on Five is a wonderfully relaxing way to start a fabulous vacation. Great foodd, attentive service and the opportunity to start using your beverage packages (they serve wine, beer, cider).

Is the main dining room open on embarkation day? I will be on the Infinity next month.

Celebrity does not open the main dining room for lunch on embarkation day or when the ship is in port-only on sea days.

Ok, that is normally what we do when we board. I guess we will try the Aqua spa restaurant or the grill.

Thank you all for the great info. I think the $5 fee for the Bistro will be money well spent. May have to have the crepes in preparation for our Paris trip in September.
