Hi tedbear. Assuming it hasn't changed, this is from memory and was available a few months ago.
To start - shrimp with cocktail sauce, or melon and prosciutto. Intermezzo - a couple of soups, French Onion was one but I cannot remember the other and Caesar Salad served with or without chicken. There was also a pasta dish with tomato sauce. Mains - Grilled salmon with lemon, chicken breast with gravy, pork chop, shrimp in spicy sauce, and two steak cuts, sirloin and filet with a choice of sauces such as Béarnaise and peppercorn. With the Mains you could have your own choice of sides. |

Thank you to you both. Sometimes it is good just to have some 'basic' food

It all sounds fabulous. Wish our cruise wasn't 16 months away

The menus presented here are the "old style" Silversea menus. Around six months ago, Silversea switched to a new (and to my mind much less user-friendly) format for the menus. It was difficult to discern whether a dish was meant as an appetizer or an entree or what.
The "Always Available" offerings were fairly consistent from day to day, but there were some changes. For example, the cuts of beef changed from day to day, and the fish also changed (though salmon was always available.) I especially noticed the change because the pork chop was not consistently available. Another feature of the "new" format menu was the offering of a nice variety of side dishes/vegetables in the "Always Available" category -- e.g., green beans, mashed potato, etc. These sides are served in generous portions in silver serving dishes. They are not (as I had expected) simply added to the entree plate. |
