Key West Fishing charter

Can anyone suggest a fishing charter company? We are in Key West for most of the day and some of our party would like to go fishing.

Use Captain Moe's Custom Charters. He goes right out of Key West Bight. His number is 305-304-8065. Website = www.bestkeywestfishing.com. My wife and I have gone out the last two years. His captain(s) will take you out for whatever you want to catch. Trust me ... TK

Kingbird Charters is another option for a mid size boat. Very nice guys with lots of fishing experience. You can google it for the number and more info.

We just returned from KW. One afternoon as we exited Schooner Wharf a fishing charter was just returning and docked just outside of the restaurant. All of the people getting off were really happy and we realized why when they started cleaning the fish they caught. They had about 20-25 fish, about a dozen Mahi Mahi, about five albarcores, a huge Pompano (cool looking fish, looks like they are "chrome plated" and one or two other. First, have you looked to see if the ship offers a fishing excursion? That would buy you some insurance in case the charter is late getting in. The ship won't leave you.

Otherwise, charters can be very expensive. Are you interested in a head boat? Take a look at the Tortuga IV. It is a lot less expensive.
