Thank you...I know there's been great amount of rain..all over FL..one reason why we put off the trip a day or two...
We live in Sarasota and drive straight up I-75 to the western part of NC..a relatively easy trip.
We have a small motorhome which DH drives and I follow with our truck..the nice part is we take our time and if the weather's bad or we're tired we just stop and sleep..so no worries...
The plan is to leave Tues nite..drive til we're tired then finish the trip Weds..hoping for no rain at all...but..we'll see...
Down a few more pounds this week!!! Didn't think that was going to
happen, given how I ate this week but I'll take it. this week has started off rough with Father's day weekend and all but i should be on track tomorrow. Good luck, to all those still on this board...
Hi..I'm FINALLY back..We're in NC...have not had internet since we arrived..so frustrating!
DH finally hooked up a new modem and it's much better.but still drops off from time to time...
We're getting fiber on our road..but the installers are in no hurry to hook up our individual houses..could be this week..could be next month..things move ALOT slower up here!
I'm down 2lbs to 153 now...am very pleased cause my work-out routine has changed...no pool..no nordictrak..but I walk down and back up our road every morning..do some floor work and my weights...My sep machine comes next week..
I hooked up our WiiFit for the scale and have been using it some also...
Yesterday I went to check out our community pool and fitness ctr and worked out there. It's pretty nice and for now I'll just pay by the day..maybe join for August cause we'll be here the whole month.
Hang in there everyone and keep posting..I need the motivation!
Yeah..me too...really hit it hard this week and didn't lose any..but didn't gain either so I guess that's good.
I love the wellness ctr here..has such a great gym and nice pool..would love to join..but it's pricey..no senior discount for me yet..it's 65 here...was hoping for 55 (I'm 58)..but no dice...

Great to hear Pdljmpr...I lost what I had gained sorry for the delay in the update...I am now over three months nicotine free and decided to treat myself to a new pair of sunglasses and a selfindulgence of snacks from a local store...anyways...pushing forward as there was alot of labor intensive work this past week and weekend as the nsevere storms moved through the area with this heat...Be sure to hydrate correctly and keep cool!
Hey..I'm finally back online!..Can't wait for our new internet service to begin...hope it's soon..This DSL we have now has been down more than up!
Fiber's in all the way to our houses..now all they have to do is send out the home installers and we're good to go!
Anyway..I'm down another 1.5lbs this week...have worked REALLY Hard for it though..When I get below 150 I'll be so excited...!
Stay motivated everyone..the results will be SO worth it!

Managed to lose another pound even on vacation..but I did work-out almost every day...

I'm still hard at it...added more floor exercises..upped my weights etc...I'm even running part of our hill on the road now.
I seem to be stuck at 150 (down from 166 since April 1st)..but am not discouraged..I feel great and know the other 10 or so will come off eventually. I have til Dec...

Sorry, yeah I have dropped a bit put about 10 lbs back on but am losing them quickly again...cruise is quickly approaching...but I am content not happy but content for now where I am at as there are other "more important" things I need to focus on right now but I thank you all for your support and will lurk this thread as long as it exists to give and receive support from here on out

I'm down another 2 lbs...to 148.6..very excited to be under the 150!
We're in double digits til cruise date and I feel great..still with the workouts daily and counting calories..eat whatever I want..just not much of it!

Anybody still here? I'm about the same weight as last time...-.5lb but have had lots of company and have been eating more
Have kept up the work-out routine though..
Less than 85 days til the cruise..can't wait!
Thought I'd post here just in case..had all kinds of problems with my interent in NC this summer but now we're back in FL..Less than 30 days til the cruise and I'm so excited!
I guess I won't have lost another 10 lbs by then but almost all my old clothes fit..I'm down to 145.6..have had so much fun trying on outfits long relegated to the bottom drawers and back of closets!
Anyone reading for the first time..I did it by logging EVERYTHING I put in my mouth..trying to stay at 1200 calories a day...and daily workouts...sit-ups, push-ups..other floor stuff...light weights for toning..a daily walk in addition to a bike ride or swim..Ski machine or stepper 3 or 4 days a week.
My Fitness Pal is a great app to keep track of everything.
Best of luck to all dieters out there..It is SOOO worth it!
