Well, off to Pensacola later today-- it's a shrimp run-- maybe a "little" casino stop Be back Sunday...
LOL, I agree - basically it is "Are you currently happy? Enjoy it because everything goes to *&^% soon"

Enjoy the shrimp run and casino. Our weekend is working on the basement and selling all the junk at the garage sale. Everything is priced and ready to be put outside, hopefully by noon tomorrow it is all gone and none of it comes back inside.

Shrimp run????? Sounds YUMMY! My idea of a shrimp run is down to Safeway, and picking up one of those round frozen do-dads with the cocktail sauce in the middle!

Steve, how did the "test" go? (big rain?)

My weekend starts NOW - skyping with the little guy - Bronco game #2 tonight - car show and breakfast/lunch with friends tomorrow - and the finale? ROOT CANAL Monday morning at 9am....ughhhh.

The big test was passed - basement is back to being dry. Only one more thing to finish framing then it is on to electrical

Good luck this morning with the root canal, hopefully it goes well

Wow!! go away for a weekend and everything happens!!!!
Lets see-- Steve-- glad the basement passed the test!!! Hope ya got rid of everything in the garage sale-- one way or another Had a 50/50 weekend-- Rained all the way up-- rained both days there-- mostly-- rained all the way back--- Shrimp came in at $2.25 a lb -- Good price-- no jumbo's tho as they are getting near the end of season... Very convienent also that the boats come in right behind the casino-- So everything we saved on the shrimp-- and more-- got donated to the casino....
Lisa-- hope the root canal comes out ok.. I'm like you-- just as happy pulling them out of the freezer at the store--but they are a good size--
Luckily I missed the big Paul Ryan shebang-- usually it's overloaded with outsiders and -- "VIP's and way way way too hot to sit there from 5:30 AM until the speeches start at 10.. We are a big place tho-- about 88000 or more and counting!!! I was happy to just read about it in the paper..

Oh yea--- how'd those Bronco's do this weekend???

Was going to mention that this morning but with Lisa going in for a root canal, I thought I didn't

Get the bad ones out now when they don't count.

My brother posted a pic this weekend from Soldier Field - he was down there for the weekend and took in the game (oh yeah - Bears won ) and another pic of some yummy Chicago Deep Dish Pizza.

Uneventful ..... I'm a pro at them. I'm one of those "blessed" people that, although my teeth look good and nice, they're really prone to cavities, crowns, root canals, etc.... My dentist makes a good living off of me!

I am dreading having a root canal, thankfully have never had to but I suspect the time is coming. I will not be handling it with dignity and grace to say the least

Perfect timing, if I happen to impact the Florida power grid, I can just blame Issac

Can't use that excuse on the Colorado grid - will have to work on something there

Have no fears - I am just running the wires and putting up the outlets - going to let the trained professionals put everything into the panel and check all the circuits (Cindy said I had to )

It does look like you may get a mid week wallop Pat - still lots of time for it to shift and miss you.

Cindy is a VERY smart woman..... when it comes to wires and electricity, always best to let the professionals have at it!

Just when I thought I could make plans for Dominican Republic, or Jamaica....here comes Mother Nature. I'm thinking I'll be waiting till after the storms to make any travel plans.

We could use a 2nd one and I sorta convienced Maria that one of those crazy ones would be nice-- especially after the baby is born--so she can keep in touch!!! Now I just gotta figure out which one....

I have the iPhone 4 and like it, does way more that I can figure out but I use the camera and iPod a lot. Was nice having skype on it when Jess was in Brazil too. There is no shortage of them to choose from but I would be wary of anything Blackberry - they are in rough shape and if they go under, tech support and warranty may be non existent.

Off to the trailer for the weekend - you guys have a great weekend.
