Has anyone been in the Grand Suite on the Star Princess? Some people said it was noisier than the side suites. Just wanted to find out which were the best ones.
Thanks in advance for any feedback. |

The bed sits directly under a swimming pool. If the boats a rocking, you will hear that water splashing around. |

I have never understood why they put the most expensive cabin on the ship in that location.

The location makes some sense. Aft view, high up. But, they should have some kind of a buffer between the room and the public space above. You hear the pool splashing and when standing on the balcony you have a bunch of people looking down on you. Then they raise that dumb flag back there and it makes that whipping sound. |

I feel the same way about the location of some of the kids areas on the stern - the best views - little kids don't care!!! I should volunteer up there and then I could stay and enjoy the view .
![]() I also don't care for the people looking down at me while on the balcony but heck, they don't stay long. |
