What is the earliest you can make a flight the same time we dock in Copenhagen. Would a 12:20 flight work?

Generally, yes, 12:20 will be fine. But, without knowing what time your cruise line says you will be docking/possibly disembarking, not sure we can give you a firm answer.

Say arrival 7am. Sorry should of put that in the other post.

You should be fine. Just know if you have a direct to US flight, security takes longer. Try to get off and to the airport promptly.

Your cruiseline would be the best to give you their recommendation...go with what they suggest.

Security in Copenhagen is NOT a nightmare - will depend on time of year - but in general you should be at the airport two hours in advance - with only 20 minutes from the cruise terminal to the airport you should be safe.

Verify with the cruise line but a Noon flight should be fine.

So are most people in agreement that a 12:20 flight should be fine after a 7:00am docking? I'm thinking we're all looking at the same flights. The other option is at 3:45 pm which would certainly be comfortable, but the stateside connection is too short (for my tastes), and then I would get home really late. I'd love to get the 12:20 flight.

Bear in mind that if you book the 3.45 flight and miss the stateside connection, you get put on another flight at the airline's expense (if you have a through ticket). If you miss the 12.20, it's your expense.

I think the 12:20 PM flight is fine but you ought to just double check with the cruise line.

Our ship will be docking at 8am on a Sunday and our flight is 12:25pm, would you think this will have enough time? We are thinking to walk to the Nordhavn train station, then take the S-train to the airport. Or should we take the taxi from Freeport to the airport? We will be taking the express checkout in which we will be taking our own lugguage and walk off the first thing ourselves.

You should have plenty of time.
This is exactly what we did & it worked like a charm. We docked at 7:00 am and had a 11:25 flight. We arrived at the airport well ahead of our flight. We also carried our own luggage off the ship. It only takes about 10 - 15 mins to walk to Nordhavn station & the train is quite speedy. We switched to the Oresund train at Osterport & were at CPH about 3 hours before our flight.

Yes that should be fine assuming a 7:00 docking time.
