Why are you back to drawing board for reception sites? The problem is we are around 20 to 30 people so for a lot of restaurants they then require a special menu, etc. that really jacks up the price or they can't accommodate a large group that size. So it just makes it complicated.
I know a few places in Manhattan - a tad nicer than Nathans. A tad more expensive too.
COREO any friend of (any) cheese is a friend of mine!Oh GAWD, their bread. Artisan loaves. Dark bread. It was magical and you use it as a tool to absorb the liquid.
Almost anything can be improved by the addition of chocolate or cheese as they ARE 2 of the 3 basic food groups (really good bread being the 3rd).
I got this off the main Celebrity board. For all my MOLE friends!!I saw that the other day as well and thought of you. I think there has to be more to that story. I mean they have been using liquid nitrogen in cocktails for years and this is the first time I've seen anything about it going horribly wrong. I agree though it is just for "show" and serves no real purpose.
My favorite drinks don't use the liquid nitrogen but I did try one of almost everything on the menu. I agree it's for show. And sometimes sitting there waiting for it to stop steaming was a nuisance to the point where I thought... they could leave it out. BUt my GOSH when you read the article... exploding stomach!?! I was concerned I'd burn my mouth!Agreed! I wonder if they put an excessive amount of it in her drink or something. I mean any time I have had the liquid nitrogen it has been at either a bar or restaurant that specialized in that sort of thing. Thus you would think they would know what they are doing. It sounds like this though was just a regular place, kind of like if you ordered that drink at an applebees or something...
That's a weight loss plan I wouldn't want to try. I really feel sorry for the girl, who was out celebrating her 18th birthday.I was surprised to learn you could live without a stomach. I would have thought that was kind of essential to life.
