On the new Viking Longships, in the aquarium class, is there a ledge in front of the window--or is there another pane of glass that is flat with the wall inside the room? Hope that makes sense?

On all the ones we have been in, there is a ledge--great for drying small items and/or storing purchases. Pat

I just want to say that before Cruise Critic, I'd never heard the term "aquarium class," and that I absolutely love it. (We'll be traveling to Antarctica soon in just such a cabin, and I've been having fun describing it this way!

We have a photo of one of the rooms posted here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/snappy0...57629745417397 There are other photos of different areas of the ship as well.
This room was on the Viking Idun in April. It does show the size of the bed, window, etc. but can't really tell how "deep" the window ledge is. Have fun on your trip. |
