Question Call C&A # to make reservation?

When making reservation through RCL, is it best to call the C&A telephone number or telephone # listed for reservations or does it matter?

Thanks for your help.

I always make my reservation through a C&A rep. They just seem more knowledgeable IMHO. Things have always gone smoother for me when booking with C&A vs. CVP.

I alway use CVP. They have done a super job--even making sure our B2B's are arranged.

We use C&A but it probably doesn't make any difference.

"CVP" is just a fancy title for general reservations

I've used the C&A number and found that it's easier if I know EXACTLY what I want. There was no "upsell" offers or anything like that. I think it's because they know you know the product. The calls have gone like this "do you know what room, sailing you want?" "yes" "do you know what price you saw?" "yup" we make sure they match and all done.

Though the only time I've done this is when taking a next cruise res to a full booking choosing the "already have a res" option on their phone tree. For new bookings I just do on-line.

When do you get to call the C&A for reservations. Is it for future cruises or reservations for dinner, etc (or both)..Do you have to be at a certain C&A level to use this service and what extra benefits does calling the C&A # get us?. What is the number?

I've used TA before on several different cruises. On several of the TA booked cruises, we had problems. They weren't big problems, but still problems. One example, on one of the Disney cruises, we were told we would have an OB credit, but didn't. There wasn't anything that Disney could do because it was booked through TA. TA made it good after the cruise but it's still something you don't want to go through on a cruise. Of course, it didn't keep us from enjoying the cruise.

We are booking this cruise using a Next Cruise deposit so we have a onboard credit from RCL. Also combining it with a C&A savings certificate so we are getting our perks from RCL.

Thank you for everyone's help. I wasn't sure if the C & A representatives actually made reservations or if there for C&A questions/problems.

The number is 800-526-9723. Any level in C&A can use it.
