COREO I realize that this is Mother Nature rather than RCI's fault, but are they making any kind of compensation for this? All those airfares and hotels. As you said, there isn't a very good choice according to the weather predictions.... but sheeesh BUMMER dude.

And um... COREO why do you think TOm is always baking "wink wink" BROWNIES.

Okay. We're back home. Had a lot of wind and rain here with lots of palm fronds and branches down and the pool full of muck. But basically we were very lucky Sandy decided to stay offshore. And we missed most of it because we were on the Left Coast of Florida.

I have to admit I'm a little confused. Why would Coreo think we were talking about the 4Runner being small instead of the trailer? And why does that deserve post of the month? And how can you be on a diet and be baking brownies all the time?

And whatever happened to Smiley?

Welcome back! Glad you didn't get any damage except for branches and leaves. It was pretty windy here with heavy rains but no big deal otherwise...

The worse thing I took from all that was "pool full of muck," because I clean our pool at home. I know mine will be full of leaves when I get back from our cruise to Hawaii. Only 6 more days to go!
Welcome home, Larry and Jan.
Did you read any more of Path Between the Seas on your camping trip?

That's all from the right coast
Was in SF for one day on our cruise through the canal - went to Alcatraz - never been there before - what an interesting place!

Pictures please - of the Halloween decorations!

Okay. Okay. I get it now. Turns out Coreo is a naughty little girl. Jan explained to me what she was talking about, being small and all. Not the trailer. Not the tow vehicle. But an intimate part of my anatomy. But she's wrong. It's not small at all. And besides, size it not what matters. Nevertheless, my brain is just as large as most people, and it still works just fine, thank you. At least most of the time. So, shame on you, naughty little Coreo, for telling people I have a small brain.

Carole: The pool is always a big mess after a tropical storm or hurricane. So much stuff blows in it looks like a hydroponic garden. One that was abandoned two months ago.

I haven't got back to reading Path Between the Seas yet. Maybe I'll just let Jan explain everything to me.

Have a great time on your Hawaii cruise. I'm sure we'll talk again before you leave. Are you flying out to San Diego on Saturday?

Larry

Yes, headed to San Diego on Saturday. Never been there before, so I wish we could spend more time there, but Danny will be using all of his vacation for this cruise and our Equinox cruise.

I started to pass this picture of the pool off as what happened with Sandy, but in fact honesty compels me to admit that this was really seven years ago after Hurricane Wilma:

Congrats to the Giants and our Collierville boy, Matt Cain!

If Carole can get away with saying "What the duck?" Then I can answer Moira's question about the sunglasses. He wants to be cool now that he's going to college. Where is he enrolled? Duck U!

Judy, I can't believe that it just kept being so windy for several days. My pool was almost that bad. Actually, I'm still working to clean it up. And the roads over at the shore are still flooding with every high tide. But for Sandy I'd much rather be down here than up in the Northeast. I hope it's not a bad as they're predicting.

Larry

We had a 3.9 earthquake 39 miles west of Memphis this morning at 7:39. All those 39s are weird. I was still asleep, so I didn't feel it. That's three earthquakes in the states that we know about. Is something going on? Is the big one coming along with Sandy?

That is weird!!

The morning shows are certainly doing a good job of putting fear and panic in everyone!
