I go back to my surgeon on Thurs. so I will see what he thinks but the last time I went in to see him after surgury he thought my voice should be back.

I just happen to be skimming thru some of the RCCL threads and noticed one that was titled B2B something.... and read about those special lunches for the B2Bers.... hope they do it for us -

I have only done one B2B - and it was no big deal cuz it was a 3 day one staying on for the 4 day going to Mexico - the staff on the Monarch at that time knew us and gave us a bottle of Champagne, had our own person lead us thru the line to re-register, etc etc... this 7 day to 7 day is a REAL one for us -- however, what we did, counted as two cruises so that helped boast our status... Now I keep track of cruise POINTS as well as my posting POINTS!!! ha!ha! carol

Carol, they usually do a luncheon for the B2b people. I'm sure they will for this sailing too because there are so many.

Sometimes it's in Giiovanni's or Chops but usually it's a scaled down version. We have also met in the main dining room, food was only so so. Really depends on the ship.

Day after day of gloomy weather really gets to me. Need the sun !!!

Country Place is still closed , yikes, this is really bad, lol Still no power here and I really don't expect it for a while yet. Soooooo many people without power. At least our house is standing, a lot of people can't say that.

I started the clean up today. Walt got the huge limb off the the greenhouse so now I have to go in and clean up all the broken glass. Cats can't go back in till that's done and the glass panes replaced. One of the little smart asses will figure out they can escape through the open panes, can't let that happen.

Our house and two of our rentals have to have the roof replaced. Ekkkk, more money. Don't think ins. will cover anything on the roofs, they needed to be replaced anyway.

Andrew went home. He called from Denver so that's the last leg for him. What a good kid. He helped us so much.

Got to get out of here for awhile tomorrow. Shopping always helps, lol

Swans are fine, they probably thought this was fun.

I'm so worried about the shed for the cats at the new house. Two trees are still on top of it and a huge limb is right through the roof. Walt had to prop the doors closed because they were just hanging .

I checked a few places today to get a new one asap.

We may be getting the same type of storm NEXT week. NOOOOOOOOOOOO

Walt was up on the roofs of three different houses today. Had to patch where the plywood was coming through.

I take shampoo, and other hair products that I leave in the bathroom on a cruise.

On the Allure there is a tiny shelf in the shower to put your "things" Not tall enough to keep my things from falling on the floor.

I picked up a shower basket with suction cups to use in the shower. Now I don't remember if I needed one for the corner or a straight one. Better go ask on the thread.

Mimi, sorry to hear all your troubles with this storm. We still have no electric here also. Posting on my iPad using my portable hot spot on my phone.
Patty, went by your street twice today. We can't get gas up without waiting on line for over an hour so we drove down the turnpike to exit 5 and got gas in Burlington without a problem. No lines there. In the morning we took the good car and had breakfast at cracker-barrel then in the afternoon we took Rods work car down and stopped in Hamilton for an early supper. I can't wait for the lights to come back on.

Pat, Tony filled both our cars up this morning and there were no lines but this afternoon and tonight there were lines at all of them!!! That one on 130 near the shops at Hamilton had cars lined up down rt 130. What a PIA. I think people from all over are coming to get gas plus they're filling up their gas cans for their generators. Hope your power comes on soon......I can't imagine being out all those days.

I heard someone's car at Cape Liberty was floating in the harbor when they returned from their cruise......wonder how the Explorer's current passengers cars are........I guess they'll be back from Bermuda on Sunday. I would have never gotten on that ship and honestly, don't think the Captain should have sailed no matter how good he might be!!!!

I always bring all my own stuff for the bathroom.......shampoo, conditioner and even my own soap. Tony will use their soap but I bring my liquid soap. So......your saying there's no room in the shower for all the stuff?

On the News here, they have been showing the long long lines at the gas stations there - plus folks with their gas cans - then, bummer is, the stations run out of gas and the folks have been waiting and can't get gas - hope everything goes back to normal... as far as power, gas, etc.

I also bring my own shampoo, soap, lotion, etc... as was discussed on the roll call, I would like to bring my OWN TP, but my luck, I'll plug up the entire Allure's toilet system! ha!ha!

right now I am thinking, I want to keep my luggage down to my big suitcase and my roller carry on and a tote... I have been bringing two suitcases cuz SoWest doesn't charge and max is 2 for free, but I am thinking of my own convenience for lugging them around - I used to bring only one big one and did fine but i got spoiled when I took advantage of the 2 free luggage allowance...

watched the CMA's -- always love that - i have also been watching Nashville weekly - I am ok with Blake and his wife Miranda winning multiple awards -

Patty, there is room for your things in the shower, but, the darn thing is only a couple of inches high and all the stuff falls on the shower floor.

I now know you need a corner suction cup basket for the shower. Mine is 4"high and it should work great.

Cool, they have a little tiny bar in the shower so you can shave your legs.

Can't believe you can now bring on 2 bottles of wine per stateroom. I still don't think we'll take any. I get so screwed up drinking wine. There won't be a pole in sight that I won't try out, lol

I told Jo she should cancel the wine she ordered from the cruise and I'll take a couple of bottles on board for her. Plus she can take 2,per week, so she should be in good shape.

Now, if they said we could swap for a 6 pk of beer, that would make Walt happy.
